Sefer Yetzirah, the oldest surviving and most psychedelic Jewish mystical text, teaches us that the whole world is a sacred house of letters, stones, and elements. Thinking, speaking, and listening are all great powers that we have been gifted and through which we can emulate and draw closer to our Creator. Through these actions, we can increase reverence for all of creation for for our part in it.
About our guides:
Rav Jericho Vincent is the founder and rabbi ofTemple of the Stranger and a leading teacher of mystical, queer, and inclusive Torah.
Ariel Yisraelah Hendelman is a Rabbinic student with the Aleph Ordination Program & the Spiritual Leader of B'nai Or Boston. Her debut album, Prayers for Fire & Water, is out now.
Location: Crossroads Cafe/Alchemia Studio (East Williamsburg) We’ll be starting promptly, so in order to keep the container’s integrity, please come on time.
We’ll be sitting low to the ground and working with clay, so wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy in.
