Realize Paradise: A Soul Journey for Entering the Inner Sanctuary
October 26th, 5:30 p.m. PST | 8:30 p.m. EST (90 minutes)
Join us for a ceremonial exploration of soul, plant life, and the creative process.
Join Shefa and Kohenet Rachel Kann for a multidimensional experience on Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan.
This soul journey will illuminate what it means to go within through the context of the autumnal energies alive in the Hebrew calendar and the plant world which held us through Sukkot.
We’ll traverse poetry, guided presence, chanting and prompt-based creative exploration using words as inspiration in a feel-free environment of non-enforced participation. You can write as you journey, or you can explore in whatever way feels most resonant for you. Bring whatever you like to create with, be it a pen and paper, paints, your keyboard, a guitar, something else entirely, or simply your open heart.
Kohenet Rachel Kann, MFA, is a poet and ceremonialist. She has apprenticed in indigenous plant work and Sufi vocal work, as well as having trained in dance and drumming healing arts modalities. She leads both one-on-one and group ceremonies, rituals and creativity workshops for folks from a diversity of backgrounds, with the intention of facilitating the realization of paradise through self-actualization, reintegration, inspiration, authenticity, the release of trauma and an increase in self-love.
Suggested contribution of $18. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
