Chant Medicine: An Embodied Journey into Sacred Time (Digital Download)

$10.00

Join us for an evening of sacred chant, meditative, somatic techniques, and opening to the Hebrew month of Tevet with Ariel Hendelman.

The practices of chant and meditation are portals, inviting us into a more expanded state of being. Each chant contains medicine for the present moment waiting to be revealed. When we join meditative chant together with the rhythms of our sacred calendar, these practices allow us to enter deeply into the specific energy of each month.

In the Kabbalistic tradition, Tevet is associated with the liver and the attribute of anger. During this month, we can purify our anger and sanctify it for a higher purpose. Anger—fire, passion and vision—tempered with the flowing & life-giving waters of chant create an alchemical transformation that can reveal more potential for what is possible within our bodies and consciousness.
